The Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks Commission recently set the final furbearer quotas for the 2007 and 2008 trapping seasons. Changes for the upcoming seasons include increased quotas for bobcat in furbearer districts three and five. In District 7 the otter quota increased from two to four otter. The quota in two of the three wolverine management units decreased. · wolverine management unit one—no quota change · wolverine management unit two—quota decreased to one wolverine from two · wolverine management unit three—quota decreased to four wolverine from five There is a new 24-hour phone line to report furbearer harvest.
