Trapper Education Course Scheduled

A trapper education class will occur Feb. 23 in Great Falls from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks office, 4600 Giant Springs Road.

The class, sponsored by the Montana Trappers Association, will cover trapping regulations, ethics, safety, furbearer identification, equipment and trap setting.  The class is open and free to the public, but students should bring a lunch. An adult must accompany children under the age of 12 years. 

Class participants will receive a certificate of completion, the National Trappers Association trapping handbook, workbook and other informational material.
