BILLINGS — Trainers from the Leave No Trace Center for Outdoor Ethics will present two educational programs Friday and Saturday, Aug. 1 and 2, at Cooney State Park. The Subaru/Leave No Trace Traveling Trainers will conduct workshops at 7 p.m. both days at the Marshall Cove Campground. They also will set up an educational outreach booth at the campground Saturday afternoon.

The hour-long, hands-on programs promote principles to lighten the affect of increasing recreational use on forests, parks and open spaces.

Cooney State Park is about 40 minutes south of Billings and accessible by county road from either Boyd or Columbus.
