STATE COMPUTER MAINTENANCE TO BRIEFLY AFFECT FWP LICENSE SALES

Hunters and anglers who need to purchase hunting and fishing licenses this weekend need to plan ahead. The state computer network that hosts Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks’ Automated Licensing System is scheduled for maintenance work from 6 a.m. to noon, Sunday Sept. 21.

The ability to purchase hunting and fishing licenses during the Sunday morning maintenance work will be briefly affected from 6-6:15 a.m., 7-7:15 a.m.; and 9-9:30 a.m. Officials noted that Internet and license-provider assess to FWP’s licensing system could be intermittently disrupted during the six-hour statewide network updates.

"Plan ahead," said FWP’s Ron Aasheim. "Purchase your hunting or fishing license today."

To purchase a fishing or hunting license visit your   nearest FWP office, or license provider; or visit FWP online at fwp.mt.gov .
