Fwp Looking For Information On Dead Grizzly Near The Thompson River

Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks Enforcement and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) are conducting a joint investigation into the death of a grizzly bear found in the Fishtrap drainage of the Thompson River about 18 miles north of Thompson Falls. The bear was recovered October 24. The bear’s carcass was significantly decomposed.
