Adopted by the Commission in December 2008, this document covers all aspects of administering the Smith River waterway -- including river capacity, permit drawing, floater registration, campsite declaration, fees, outfitter authorization and much more.

Commerical use is defined as any person, group, or organization that makes or attempts to make a profit, vend a service or product, receive money, amortize equipment, or obtain goods or services as compensation from participants in activities. Commercial use rules exist to provide guidelines for evaluating whether a request is compatible with public expectations and management objectives for FWP sites. These rules were adopted by the Commission in December 2006.
